Register at a Campus Event
Check the Vols Vote Calendar to see when and where voter registration events are happening. (Note: If you register this way, you must vote in person your first time, unless you register in front of a Knox County Election Commissioner.)
Register Online
Visit the GoVoteTN app or GoVoteTN website. You’ll need a TN State Issued ID to register online. (Note: If you register this way, you must vote in person your first time.)
Register at the County Election Commission
When registering at a County Election Commission, you may be able to absentee/By Mail vote your first time if you meet the absentee voting criteria. If you register any other way, you will have to vote in person the first time. The Knoxville Election Commission is located at 300 Main St. in the Old Courthouse in downtown Knoxville.

Download, complete, and mail the registration form. Find the address of your election commission and place a first class stamp on the envelope. (Note: If you register this way, you must vote in person your first time.
